MILES COURTNEY TAYLOR

May 17, 1977 - July 15, 2018

Miles C. Taylor, age 41, of Lewisville, passed away early Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1977, in Houston, Texas and spent his childhood years in Alvin, Texas, graduating Alvin High School in 1995. He moved on to Texas A&M and graduated A&M as part of the 1999 class. Whilst in college, he discovered and developed a passion for computers and computer technologies. He began his career with a telecommunications company in Houston and continued his education in computing technologies pursuing additional certifications.

He moved to Dallas to work for Micromuse, an IBM subsidiary, where he had a very successful career leading to multiple management opportunities including Tekelec and Maxim Semi-Conductor. In 2016, he moved to his latest position at Capital One where he was excited about additional technical learning opportunities.
In concert, with his love for technologies, was his love for science and math. He loved studying the stars and would have loved nothing more than to have been born in a time of space travel and to have been able to explore space. He had been enjoying looking at the night sky shortly before he passed. In the future, you will be able to look to the sky and see the Miles C. Taylor star and see his 2 acres on the moon.

Out pacing his love for the sciences was the love he had for "my girls". At Micromuse, he met Sasha, the woman who eventually became his loving wife and mother of 4 special and beautiful daughters ages 14, 11 and 7 (twins) - Alexis, Teagan, Harper and Olive. Additionally, he is survived by parents, Joe and Garia Ray-from the Houston area, David and Philomena Dobell in-laws-from England, and family and friends from near and abroad.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Friday 20th, 2018, at the Flower Mound Family Funeral Home in Flower Mound, Texas. A celebration of life services will be held beginning at 2pm on Saturday the 21st at the same location - 3550 Firewheel Drive, Flower Mound, Texas 75028.
